Korean culture trends

This video introduces the evolution of Korean women’s street fashion, which has been at the center of K-fashion from 1960 to 2023.

In the early 1960s, traditional hanbok attire was still commonly worn among Korean women. However, influenced by Western culture, Western-style clothing such as skirts and dresses began to gradually gain popularity. The Korean fashion style of that time developed as television became more accessible to households, and people started watching early K-pop singers and K-dramas. They began to emulate the fashion of celebrities, leading to its development.
