Zara is a unique company in many respects.  For one, it shuns traditional marketing strategies of its peers and relies on occupying prime real estate to draw the one thing that any retailer ultimately needs to survive: Foot traffic.

It also turns out fashionable pieces at an almost inconceivable pace, in some cases a mere two weeks from concept to rack.
