Antonio Lopez 1970: Sex Fashion & Disco is an electrifying documentary that follows fashion illustrator (and FIT alumnus) Antonio Lopez from New York to Paris between 1969 and 1973. Interviews with Bill Cunningham and Jessica Lange, archival footage, and Antonio’s own exuberant illustrations tell the story of this native of Puerto Rico, raised in the Bronx, who took the world of fashion illustration by storm. Alexander Joseph, Hue Magazine managing editor, introduced the film. A Q&A with the film’s director Paul Caranicas and models Pat Cleveland and Corey Tippen followed.
