a very serious historical timeline of the evolution of (mostly white western wealthy cis blah blah etc) women’s fashion from 1784 to 1970. I made the original timeline with historical fashion plates/ sewing patterns/ ads/ etc. ages ago and posted it on reddit, only to have a ton of websites steal it mostly without permission and mostly without crediting me. such is the nature of the internet. so i made this video out of it because i have too much free time
